what time is worship service?
Our Sunday Worship Experiences are virtual on our Official Mother Emanuel AME Church Facebook Page and in-person. Worship services begin at 10:00 AM. All are welcome to attend.
As a reminder, we follow the CDC guidelines to keep all our attendees and staff on the Mother Emanuel Campus safe and healthy during this coronavirus pandemic. On the Mother Emanuel campus, masks are optional for all attendees during our worship services.
**Parking Notice**
Due to the current construction of the Emanuel Nine Memorial, parking on the Mother Emanuel Campus is limited. Mother Emanuel Sunday Worship Services attendees may utilize the Gaillard Parking Garage at 32 Alexander St., Charleston, SC, for standard 3 hours of free parking.
Please keep your parking tickets once you enter the parking garage. When you exit the Gaillard Parking Garage, insert your ticket, then scan the barcode on the back of your Sunday Worship Guide under the machine at exit.
Mother Emanuel AME is a place where people can meet Jesus and engage in a life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts, and use them for God's glory.

We recognize that it can be challenging to physically attend worship services, as many of our members and community friends have demanding lives throughout the week and often on Sunday mornings. Therefore, we warmly invite you to join us virtually, allowing you to encounter the same God wherever you are. Your presence is valued just as much as if you were seated in our pews; the only difference is that you will be worshiping with us through your electronic devices.
